Right of cancellation
As a consumer, you have a two-week right of cancellation when shopping with us.
The right of cancellation expires 14 days after the day on which you received your purchase or when you take physical possession of the last goods in the event of a contract for several different items which have been included in one order and which are delivered in separate shipments.
Within 14 days of receipt, you must notify us of the fact that you wish to cancel your purchase. The notification must be provided by you contacting us at email@example.com. You may also use the standard cancellation form. Your notification must clearly state that you wish to make use of your right of cancellation.
You cannot cancel an order simply by refusing to accept delivery of the goods without also providing us with clear notification of this.
Cancelling part of a purchase
If you have bought several items from us, you may return one or more items although they were included in one purchase.
Please note that the shipping costs are not refunded if you cancel part of an order.
If you live in Denmark you can return your order with the attached return label. If you live outside Denmark, there is no return label, but you can return your order by handing it in at your local post office or delivery service at your own expense.
Return your order to us without any undue delay and no later than 14 days after your notification of cancellation of your purchase.
You bear the risk of the goods from the time of delivery of the goods to you.
When you return the item, please describe the issue in as much detail as possible. We do not accept parcels for collection nor parcels sent payable COD.

The condition of the returned goods
You are only liable for any decrease in the value of the goods caused by other handling than that necessary to determine the type, characteristics and function of the item. In other words, you may try on the item in the same way that you would try it on in a physical shop, but you are not permitted to make actual use of it.
If the items has been worn above that beyond that described above, we will deem it to have been used, which means that on cancelling the purchase you will only receive a refund of part of the purchase price, or none of it, depending on the marketable value of the returned item.
We recommend that you return the item in its original packaging. If the original packaging is not returned, this may possibly mean that the marketable value of the item has been reduced.
Refund of the purchase price
If you regret your purchase, we will refund the purchase price. In cases where the value of the returned item has been reduced, and you are liable for this loss of value, said loss of value will be deducted from the purchase price refunded.
If you make use of your right of cancellation, we refund all payments received from you including shipping costs (except, however, extra costs incurred by your choice of alternative shipping than the cheapest standard shipping option offered by us) without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the date on which we received notification of your decision to cancel the order. We make the refund by the same means of payment as that used in the original transaction, unless you have explicitly agreed to an alternative. We do not refund shipping costs on return of the item.
We may refrain from making the refund until we have received the returned item, unless you have provided documentation for its return before then.
The provisions for defective goods contained in the Danish Sale of Goods Act may apply to purchases.
As a consumer, when you shop with us, you enjoy a 24-month guarantee period. This means that, depending on the specific circumstances, you may either have the item repaired or exchanged, receive refund or a purchase price reduction. The complaint must be justified, and the defect must not have arisen as a result of improper use of the product or any other wrongful act.
You must make your complaint within a reasonable time from having ascertained the defect. If you complain within two months from having ascertained the defect, the complaint will always be made on time.
If your claim is warranted, we will refund your (reasonable) shipping costs. The item must always be returned in proper packaging and remember to ask for a receipt for shipping so that we can refund your shipping costs.
In order for us to enter into an agreement with you, we require the following information:

We register and share your personal data in order to be able to ship the goods to you. Moreover, we collaborate with a number of other companies which store and process data. These companies process data solely on our behalf and are not permitted to use the data for their own purposes.
We only collaborate with data processors within the EU or in countries which are able to adequately protect your data.
We collect your email address, name address, telephone number, gender and IP address. In addition to these, also analytical data such as the unit from which you access our web page. This data is collected with the view to improving your experience on our web page and analysing the performance of our web page.
We process your payment information by means of the payment gateway ePay. Your purchases are handled through Smartweb.
If you sign up for our newsletter, we also store your email address. Please note that this is only collected on separate consent being given – that is, if you subscribe to our newsletter yourself.
When you visit Cashott.dk, we automatically collect data on you and your use of our web page – e.g. on the type of browser used by you, the search terms used by you on the web page and your IP address. The purpose of this is to optimise the user experience and the functioning of the web page as well as carry out targeted marketing, including retargeting via Facebook and Google.
The personal data is registered with Cashott Copenhagen A/S and is stored for five years, after which the data will be erased. If you have set up a login for our web page, the data is not erased unless you ask us to do so. However, if your account is not active for a period of five years, this data will be erased.

To ensure transparency on the processing of your data, we – as data controllers – must inform you of your rights.
You have the right to access to your data processed by us (right of access) and the purpose served by the registration. You have the right to receive a copy of your personal data processed by us. If you wish to receive a copy of your personal data, please send a written request to firstname.lastname@example.org. You will be asked for proof of identity (Please note that when you provide this proof by e.g. providing a copy of your passport, health insurance card or driver’s licence, you are sharing further sensitive personal data with us). You also have the right to data portability which means that you have the right to transfer this data to another data controller.
If you believe that the data is inaccurate, you have the right to have it rectified (the right to rectification).
In some cases, we are under a duty to erase your personal data if you so require (the right to erasure). This could be the case if e.g. your data is no longer required for the purposes for which they were collected. You may also contact us if you believe that your personal data is being processed in contravention of current legislation.
